Branding

For when the business has grown up and the logo hasn’t. A logo, fonts, colours and a voice that look like the business you are now, with guidelines so it stays that way.

From £2,500

Most businesses start with a logo somebody knocked up in an afternoon. That’s fine, until the business grows up and the brand doesn’t.

Then it starts costing you. Customers judge you on it before they’ve read a word, and a brand that looks homemade makes a serious business look like a side project.

What you get

  • A logo pack, in every version and format you’ll need, for screens and print.
  • Fonts and a colour palette, chosen so everything you make looks like it came from the same place.
  • Brand guidelines, so whoever works on it next, inside the business or out, gets it right.
  • A tone of voice, so the words sound like you as well as the pictures.
  • The brand in use: examples on the things you actually use, so you can see it working before it goes anywhere.

How it works

  1. A call about the business, who it’s for, and what the current brand is getting wrong.
  2. First ideas and a direction, usually within a few weeks.
  3. You pick one, and we refine it with you. There’s no set number of rounds: we keep going until it’s right.
  4. The finished brand: the files, the guidelines and the tone of voice, ready to use.

The whole thing usually takes two to three months, depending on how involved it is. It’s usually Craig and Rob working on it.

We don’t do printing or signage. We hand over print-ready files and work with your printer or sign maker so it comes out right.

What it looks like when it works

Rucklidge Law were a firm of solicitors on a basic, off-the-shelf look that didn’t build trust. We rebranded the whole firm, then designed and built the website around the new brand.

Branding and websites

Most of our branding work comes alongside a new website, because the two work best designed together. It’s rare we take on branding on its own these days, but it’s possible with the right business.

What it costs

From £2,500. Most straightforward brands land between £3,000 and £5,000, and bigger or more involved projects go above that.

You get a fixed price before anything starts. Our prices are on the website, like they should be.

We’ve built this before.
